1) Can I choose my sponsored child?
You can choose to sponsor a girl or boy and the approximate age.

2) How long must I keep my sponsorship?
For as long as your circumstances allow. However, should you want to stop your sponsorship, we do ask that you give us as much warning as possible so that we can ensure another sponsor takes your place.

3) Can I sponsor for less than the amount shown on the sponsorship form?
We need this minumum commitment (£15 per month) to  achieve lasting results from your sponsorship. If you prefer, you can make your payments quarterly, half yearly or annually rather than montly.  Otherwise you can make a donation for the level that is right for you.

4) How can I make sure the children are well looked after?

5) Can I sponsor a child with my friends or work colleagues?
Yes. It is important that you provide us with a clear point of contact for all our and your sponsored child's communications.

6)What about my privacy issues when I sign up to sponsor a child?
If you choose to sponsor a child, the information you provide will be used in connection with the administration of your sponsorship. Your information is only accessed by the staff of Action for Orphans UK office. We do not share your information with third parties.

100% of your contributions through our sponsorship program goes directly to pay for housing, education, health, food, recreation and the development of the children.

Action for Orphans is a UK registered charity and adheres to The Charity Commission guidelines, regulations and requirements. By working on the ground through an Iranian charitable organization, we ensure that further internal and external control mechanisms are applied. We aim to secure sufficient funds to provide adequate care and follow-up of children both in the short and long term, and to keep administrative costs to an absolute minimum.
