Action For Orphans

Action for Orphans is a small, UK-based, grass-roots and non-profit making charity, working to alleviate the suffering of the orphans of Bam as well as abandoned children in the region. Entirely independent, Action for Orphans is not affiliated with any religious or political group.

Founded by a British-Iranian family, who themselves lost many friends and family members in the Bam earthquake, Action for Orphans is run and managed by a board of trustees. They are supported by a network of associates and support groups who take a very active role in its day-to-day operation.

All trustees, associates and support groups of Action for Orphans in the UK work on a non-paid voluntary basis . Action for Orphans has minimal administrative costs such as telephone and internet charges, bank charges and printing costs.
